When someone tells you to “go fly a kite” now you know where to head to. This spring, the North Babylon Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Babylon are hosting a fun family event called “Go Fly a Kite Over Babylon.”
The day will be filled with professional kite demonstrations, kite sales, open kite flying area, Big Bubble show, kite candy drop, STEM/STEAM school kite competition, food trucks, vendors and all-day music. Local non-profits organizations will be on hand like the the Lions Club of North Babylon, Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition, Boy and Girl Scouts, among others.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Overlook Beach with expanded hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (rain date Sunday, April 30,). All are invited to attend. FREE PARKING
