President Garrett Simulcik along with six other North Babylon residents and business owners recognizing the need for a Chamber of Commerce in our area started a steering committee to gauge interest of having a Chamber in North Babylon.  In the Spring of 2016, the interim steering Committee began the North Babylon Chamber of Commerce. At the time, Garrett Simulcik was the Owner/Operator of a Cruise Planners franchise.   

Garrett Simulcik is a graduate from the Defiance College, Defiance Ohio, where he received his degree in B.A. in Political Science.  A longtime resident and active community leader in North Babylon, he served as a Weblo Leader in Pack 399, and later as a Committeeman for the Boy Scouts in Troop 399. He was a Soccer Coach for the North Babylon Patriot Soccer Club and also served as the Clubs President for a number of years. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Junior Soccer League as First Vice President and as Registrar for the Eastern New York State Soccer League.   He received the Long Island Junior Soccer League “Hall of Fame” award in 2006.

Garrett was first elected to be the President of the North Babylon Chamber of Commerce in 2016 and has since been re-elected to serve in that position every two-years.
