Judy Keller

Judy Keller, affectionately known as Judybean to family and friends, is a woman for all seasons, a true Renaissance woman.  Trilingual in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, she worked for 20 years in both publishing and corporate for an engineering institute. Drawing on her own experience as a mother of two sons and a natural ability to put people at ease, she was a beloved preschool teacher for several years. She is also an inventor and writer.  She is hoping to bring her invention to fruition in the near future and to self-publish her children’s storybook.

As well as being “Mom” to Matthew and Andrew, she is the devoted wife of Ken. Considering her family her first – and most rewarding – priority, she has nonetheless tirelessly served her community. She has volunteered as a Cub Scouts Den Leader; a religious education teacher, where her class often became a Jeopardy-type religion game competing against other classes; Boy Scouts committee member; and an active Lions Club member. She is presently serving as Director of the North Babylon Lions Club but has served in various capacities such as President, Vice President and LCIF Coordinator.  Hear her ROAR!  She is also a member of the North Babylon Chamber of Commerce for the past 10 years and serves as Director on their Board.
She has a smile and helping hand for everyone, and is truly an inspiration to all who know her. We can only hope her next invention involves making her boundless energy and eternal optimism available to the general public!

This Judy of all Trades enjoys dancing, Zumba, crossword puzzles, sudoku, reading, trips to New York City and traveling the states with Ken.  Naturally a social butterfly!
